Thank you, Steve. Limpia Creek is nice, but it is a heavy western...good for foul weather.

Yes, my bike. This one is a 2011 model in Sedona Orange. I've been riding two wheels longer than I've been driving on four. I've probably got 250K to 300K miles lifetime on a bike.

Sounds like a plan, Hag; Kerrville, Sisterdale, Utopia...it's all good in that part of the state!

Cudos, Randy. I can't drive four wheels or two, but love a great car or motorcycle. Harleys always get my attention.

Maaan! Sure wish I could find a hat like this in THAT color! This forum is going to cause me to go broke!

Case in point: I just now pulled the trigger on a BIN eBay beauty! I can’t believe the price! A near mint Penny’s Marathon wide brim WITH A SHARK GILL BOW!!!! I’ve always wanted one with that feature, especially after seeing a few in Eric’s fine collection. I’m so happy! When it arrives I’ll be posting pics in the eBay thread! [emoji2957]

I like that a lot! I am partial to old Resistols, and that one is a fine looking one!

Great looking Resistol, Bob. So much to like. Love the ribbon treatment.

Holy crap, I love that hat!!!!!!! I’ve owned two really nice vintage Resistols and stupidly gave one to my father and one to my pastor...but neither one wasn’t near as nice as yours, or they wouldn’t have gotten them.[emoji2958]
I’m on the look out for another one or two.
Congrats to your enviable fedora. I love the ribbon, too. I am so impressed with y’all’s hat collections here!

Molto bello!

Thanks everyone! I finally got a long overdue haircut and can wear this one again.

Thank you sir. That is some nice country and a great place to ride.

Very nice for sure. We go to Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Boerne quite often. Love to go hang out at Albert and Luckenbach.

My favorite ride has to be the Devil’s Backbone though, just beautiful and great twisties. Very cool old Tavern on the route too.

Great photos, and hat ! What beach are you on ?

Thanks...the south shore of Great Peconic Bay on eastern Long Island.

OMG! Not only does the picture of the beach look super, that cap....I would arm wrestle you for that one if I knew it would fit me! LOL!

So nice to hear your voice Cindy. This cap is a custom made by Keith Lo Bue from mid 19th century homespun linen/wool cloth. He has more. Tell him I sent you!

Going to the polls today in the 1941 Stratoliner.

2 big issues for TX today - NO State Income Tax and Texas Parks & Wildlife Funding.

If Texas votes for no state income tax they get back on my list for retirement states. I grew up with no income tax in Washington, but that state has gone to the birdbrains and now their sales tax runs over 10%. Blech... and look out for vehicle registration fees!!!

Well, we already have no State Income Tax, but the vote was for a Proposition against an amendment to adopt one. We’ll see what happens in the morning. Still a great place to retire as long as your out of the big cities.

Dang that is a glorious hat! That hat can be worn and showcased on this thread much more often.

Vintage Silhouettes in blue steel.

I always vote late. Just before the polls close. No lines, and done!

No lines = excellent. Steel blue VS rules! I choose to vote early, mostly to avoid the lines and for the convenience of my schedule. Charlie I am confident that you voted correctly. ;)

Gosh, I look so excited.

Sounds like a perfect time to earn some kudos sir. I toss some kudos in the jar for you this evening. I hope your jar fills up tonight. I do like the hat choice. As to matching with sweat pants, I will take your word.

Best, Eric -

My special hat this morning. Very stiff construction, this one! A new set of LED lights all around on the Road King and new Vance & Hines headers, too. Temps in the 60's, let's ride!

Back home this afternoon, cleanup around the house in my Limpia Creek western.

What a beauty of a bike, love that leather jacket too. I had a Harley in the early 1990's, I can't believe that was almost 30 years ago. My missus and I loved it, known as a Heritage Springer Softail. My missus and I were into 1950's rock & roll at that time, and while all our friends were buying cars with fins and chrome we bought The Harley, sold it on for more than I paid too. Great memory. (note the beard.)

I still go out on a bike, but it's much more sedate. My surgeon recommended cycling as good therapeutic exercise to build back the muscle tone following the surgical insult. The bike is a ladies 1922 Phillips, perfect for my gammy leg. Gents bikes, with the crossbar, are not hip replacement friendly. The hat, one of Esther's finest, sits tightly on top, not that I can pedal fast enough to lose it to the wind.
