Cindy; So happy to see your post when catching up on on this thread this late evening. It is a true pleasure.

Love that hat you are sport'n while doing your civic duties.

Bob that is some bold ribbon treatment today. Excellent.

Dang that is a glorious hat! That hat can be worn and showcased on this thread much more often.

No lines = excellent. Steel blue VS rules! I choose to vote early, mostly to avoid the lines and for the convenience of my schedule. Charlie I am confident that you voted correctly. ;)

Sounds like a perfect time to earn some kudos sir. I toss some kudos in the jar for you this evening. I hope your jar fills up tonight. I do like the hat choice. As to matching with sweat pants, I will take your word.

    Best, Eric -

What a beauty of a bike, love that leather jacket too. I had a Harley in the early 1990's, I can't believe that was almost 30 years ago. My missus and I loved it, known as a Heritage Springer Softail. My missus and I were into 1950's rock & roll at that time, and while all our friends were buying cars with fins and chrome we bought The Harley, sold it on for more than I paid too. Great memory. (note the beard.)

I still go out on a bike, but it's much more sedate. My surgeon recommended cycling as good therapeutic exercise to build back the muscle tone following the surgical insult. The bike is a ladies 1922 Phillips, perfect for my gammy leg. Gents bikes, with the crossbar, are not hip replacement friendly. The hat, one of Esther's finest, sits tightly on top, not that I can pedal fast enough to lose it to the wind.

Sweet rides all the way around. Love the white sidewalls on those softails. My speed has moderated over the years too as now I have cruise control on my bikes. One click, set it and forget it! Great hat there, too!

I’ve learned that among the hat community here I have a reputation of wearing fedoras, so thought I better balance that with my Texas Hatters derby yesterday.

Derbyman does not have the ring like Bowlerman. Excellent hat for a morning.

The light snow and gray morning sky had me thinking of silverbelly. It is a beautiful day in Minnesota and a continual soiree.

Opted for another of my recent purchases (via the classifieds on the forum), a vintage Borsalino Nero. The brim is smaller than I normally wear, but the feel and fit of the hat are great. 4D76AE29-E91F-4125-AC23-52620307E009.jpeg 05995B9D-5265-4EAB-B2DB-C57E4C6B90AD.jpeg B2752849-7C58-4279-A5FB-776ED422E70D.jpeg 71062BD0-6559-4DCC-B8DE-7B209030EE89.jpeg

Borsalino Qualità Superiore size is 7 3/8 because it was made for the US market SavoyB 2R.jpg
Color of the felt is "Uranio" and the ribbon is "Nera"
    SavoyB 6R.jpg
The felt is very soft and malleable and it has the edge of brim processed as "feltrato" (cavanagh edge)

I bought this Borsalino along withy ohters "flooded" some years ago, some were refurbished, this not.

Western Wednesday with a Beaver 100 and my trusty Wrangler denim pearl snap shirt. I put a vintage filter on one of the pics but I'm not sure it helped my looks very much :)

Enjoying the mild weather today here in central Texas. It is supposed to get nasty tonight and tomorrow.

That hat is perfect! The rolled brim and crease are spot on! I like western shirts also!

Great hat and Western look. Enjoy the nice weather while you can, already raining up here in North Texas.
