Thank you Stefan, you too.
Forced leave, but working from home trying to teach digitally and staying in touch with students and colleagues on line. Not easy when evil outside forces are also trying to attack our internet systems

Thank you, Steve. I take it you're on forced leave right now. Not a hiatus anybody would want, but likely will last for some time it seems. Take good care of yourself.

Hei Folks. I've enjoyed catching up on the FL during these difficult times and catching up on all your fantastic hats. It's such things that keep us going. Stay safe all, and stay at home as much as you can.

I popped out for some fresh air today. It's still allowed and recommended in Denmark, we've been good at social distancing for a couple of weeks now. I wore this great Mallory Aristocrat. One of the four hats I received the other day from Randall, the Georgia enabler

It cheered me up to be out and about in a fine lid.

Thanks a bunch, brother!!
Only alteration made to that hat was to clean and shape it and switch out the 1 1/2 ribbon and bow for a 2” ribbon and bow that was robbed from a dilapidated 70s stingy. The original ribbon had sweat stains that couldn’t be cleaned...I tried very hard.
I’ll end up reusing the 1 1/2 inch grosgrain on some beater hat.

Wow!! Nice! Glad the hats made it across the Atlantic without sinking abreast the Titanic! Looks better on you than on me. Glad you’re safe and healthy, too.

Georgia enabler. Too funny.

Greetings All:
Today....well, the true color on this one is impossible to capture. Maybe it’s a mood hat like the old mood rings or a weather hat, idk. I do know the seller, Ed at Vintage Comics, who’s hat descriptions take poetry to a new level, aptly described it as Autumn Storm i believe.
Ed’s not a member but i wish he was.
Stetson RD.
Be well and well sanitized folks.

Coronavirus.
Stock market going south.
Economy tanking.
Unemployment skyrocketing.

...and it's raining.

But this San Antonio still looks good!

...and Utah suffered a 5.7 magnitude earth quake with 4.6 aftershocks.
Damn Terry, just when I think you can't make them any better. Great hat, sir. May you and your good wife stay safe, my friend.
Thank you, Steve! ...and the very best to you and your family as well.

Many thanks B, I truly appreciate it coming from you.

You are indeed a great style master because you mix and match and make it work splendidly. You challenge my horizons and make me want to go beyond them.

Live long, stay safe, and prosper, my friend.

Thanks Steve.

Going up town to the post office in my mysterious early 60s Strat clone.

Hope no Coronas cling to me.

This hat has Knox co. Components that I sewed in, but originally, the hat was built by a an unknown hat co. for a defunct chain store.
The sweat band suffered from dry rot, but the rest of the hat was in fine shape. Still one of my favorites. View attachment 221213
It just occurred to me that I may henceforth name this hat:
The “Knox-off”
‘Cause it’s a rip-off of the Knox brand.
:)

Now I have two named hats. My first being my, Mac Kamie.
Fun stuff. May have to name a few others...

I'm wondering if I did pick up some kind of fever though: I'm actually looking at a green hat to buy!;)
If it’s a dark sage green Adam on eBay, I highly recommend that you try to win it. I can personally attest to the hat’s early 60s superbness!
:)
Wish it fit me, or it wouldn’t be up for auction. And I don’t usually like green hats, neither, too.
If it’s not the hat you’re looking at then maybe you should check it out, as well. A loose Size seven, I think. :)
