Walk in the forest. Took my Christy's London Ealing Poet in Moss with me.

Greetings from Germany.

Went with him. But I weared my Bailey of Hollywood Ammon.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Congrats to your daughter.

Oh boy!!! Grandbaby Bobs in the future!!
Hope that new son in law is a hard worker cause we’ve seen your “Out the backdoor” pics.
Good hat and congrats.
B

Thanks fellas! The second time’s a charm ... I hope.

Pretty sure there are only grand-dogs in my future though.

Borsalino Extra Superiore on this overcast day. The name on the label says Amiata. I'm guessing it refers to the colour. Mount Amiata is part of a lava dome range of mountains in Tuscany. The grey/purple colour of it is in line with the colour of this Borsa. View attachment 271299 View attachment 271300

The color of you hat is exquisite. The background of your photo really make it pop.

The same thing happens to me, B: I forget how well a hat fits or looks. Luckily, the hat reminds us :)

That is one super looking Stratoliner. Love the look of the jacket and boots, too.

Hope you and yours are well, sir.

Today...revisiting the 40’s Stratoliner.
It seems to fit better then i remembered. Either my head shrank or i’m forgetful...or both.
Be well and safe.
Bowen

Ps: if i don’t say it often enough, thank you all for the always kind words.

Thanks for the link Erehwon.

"Erewhon" was Samuel Butler's (novelist and satirist of the 19th century) most famous novel. The w and h are in the wrong place in his novel of the same name, so not quite nowhere backwards as in your alias. It was however a play on Nowhere. Just thuoght there might be a connection.

Sorry, nerd alert :)

Now, I'll just be quiet and check your link.

Thank you! It is my first wool open crowned. I presented it in this thread:

https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/ealing-poet-100-wool.101911/

There you can see more pictures of it.

Sorry, never heard of Butler. Erehwon is just "nowhere" backwards.

Interesting. My alias for the internet is so old, I don't quite remember, why I chose it once.
