Imperial Stetson. Imo, the late in the day November light really brought out the shape and colours in this Manchester made under license Stetson. Have a good week ahead, folks.

I tuned in for hats and thanks for bringing a strong game sir.

Lee Smartlee

I love the Smartlee. I have seen pics only rarely of this model on the Lee thread. Excellent hat sir. It looks smart.

View attachment 282801 Mid 50s Imperial Stetson in light peacock green. At least I think it’s mid 50s due to Alan’s wonderful info.
Super smooth, malleable and light felt in this guy!

Excellent Imperial. I have a brown Imperial and do not see many showcased on the forum, nor in the thread history. Later this morning I will have to do some digging into Imperials. Glorious hat in a rare color.

Sporting the Cavanagh today. View attachment 282809
Hats off to Charlie @hatsRme and his JFK history lesson.

You and Kennedy share similar tastes!

Oh boy does your neighborhood have some views!

Great pics and thanks for sharing. I like the dimensions of your wife's Bailey fedora.

I tune in for hats and you bring them - thanks!

Have a good day,
Michael

Love the dimensions of the Dallas!

Everybody is looking fantastic in these truly amazing hats! It’s always nice to see.
My last few days included the dark moss Baron bowler, derbynator style, my Greeley western homburg on a nice hike, and my powder blue Stetson mode edge.

Jeff; A homburg on a hike is exactly what one would expect you to be sport'n. Be safe and best to the family.

This morning a dog soirre in my Gannon Playboy inspired fedora. The blue mist beaver felted hat I steamed last night to give it a bit more "swoop." I got home from an essential grocery store run and have been continuing to wear it about. Totally comfy.

Week dedicated to hats formed by machines.
In the tours with Steve in the Italian headwear we have seen several of these machines, some from before the Second World War and curiously it is difficult to find in good condition hats, already shaped, from that era
President 8.jpg
They were medium and low priced hats, used and worn until exhaustion.

Today I show you a hat belonging to that category. Panizza Royal size 60 cm. made after the closure of the historic hat factory in Ghiffa on Lago Maggiore
President 2.jpg
It was probably made by the Cappellificio Falcus in Tuscany.
The hat has two interesting features: the finished, soft short-haired felt and its color, magnificent in my opinion, everything else is average.

Thanks for your appreciation and likes.
Let's keep informed and live in this difficult time.

One of the best licensed hats I've seen, Steve. A real find.

Good to see it recovered from its salt water bath, Joe.

Late 50s RD Stetson with a Selv-Edge and a netted liner. I’ve never seen a net liner in a felt hat and wonder just how much cooler it could make the wearer, but it’s certainly a cool feature!
Also curious is the absence of a sweatband embossment indicating that this is a Selv-Edge.
Love that this ribbon is a dark navy blue and not the typical black—It’s lignes also untypical.
Great hats by everyone on the FL today!

Thank you, Eric. That's praise indeed coming from someone who always brings in a strong game of hats.
