Haven't been posting much lately. Just haven't felt very well. My son and I both are dealing with COVID. Anyway, this is the first day I felt like getting out. Wearing a Silverbelly from Northwest Hats.

You sure clean up well sir! Love the VS.

I love the Macs Max. I think those sweat bands are my favorite type out there.

Great looking crown Perry.

Inexpensive King Ice flat cap for a walk to the playground with my 8 year old this afternoon.

Great mask Dave! Nice material on that cap too.

Doogan Donegal Navy knit with grey/navy herringbone - a couple of these Doogan caps arrived with some other flat caps a while back. Half knit half tweed flat cap... when I first tried them on at the time I didn’t care for the look. What do you know... one cold day (for us) and I changed my mind.

This style of cap, which I have been told is an "Ivy Cap" is one of my favorites. The knit/tweed makes this one quite stylish and interesting!

The machine hats were due to finish last week, but a series of engagements kept me away from the computer and FL.
A summary of the previous days.

It seems that Panizza and heirs have been weaving first quality felt for many years even if the hats had sways in quality.

The same can be said of the Barbisio when it was produced by Cappellificio Cervo.

Barbisio Classic of wonderful color, called "Liguria" with the logo written in gold on the bow (Borsalino docet).

As always, the combination of colors in Barbisio is excellent as is the felt.

With this hat the "machine formed" found in a container are finished. Others will follow, but I will change the theme for the remaining days of the week
Today it's snowing, light this morning when I arrived at the office, now the flakes are heavy.

Note the wool cap, called in Italian "passamontagna - balaclava" which when it was purchased was outlawed by the law that prohibited walking on the street with the face covered. It was the seventies and political riots and skirmishes were the order of the day
We are lucky: the temperature is around zero Celsius so there will be little snow on the ground
Buona giornata!
This hat parade made my morning Daniele. It is a perfect snow cap for you.

All in on Loden for another morning in the teens. Biltmore Golden Pheasant velour on top.

Going to try for another bike ride today. Hopefully I'll be able to drop a layer by then.

Caps have an important place in the pantheon of headgear. Well worn!

Buona giornata to you sir! I wanted to drop a comment saying I have been watching and reading your thematic posts. I love them. After viewing a couple of brands that I only have a passing knowledge of (like Barbisio and Panizza) I went through the older threads on this forum and checked out more details. Thanks for broadening my hat horizons. Cheers!

Best to all posters for sharing their hats, Eric -

Very nice, Doc! About a month ago I missed one that looked just like it on eBay, because I forgot to bid! I do that TOO OFTEN!!!
Oh well. One day I’ll get another chance. Looks great on you!
Love the colors.
