Stingy adjacent works! Looking good David. Love the scarf. At 2 1/4” this might be more stingy-adjacent but I’m definitely feeling the spirit of Stingymas. Kennedy-era Palco/Rogers Peet. Cheers, David

A beautiful hat indeed!Yesterday I was driving through two inches of snow, today it's over 50 degrees. Crazy weather! I have a day of clean work, just some bidding and calls so I get to wear a nice hat. Today I'm wearing my John Batterson felted edge, it isn't marked as a twenty but has an original $20 price tag.

And THAT is the true spirit of StingyMasJust a random thought......As one who has ended up with more than a few ebay hats that showed up with shorter brims than expected, ( poor photography making brims look bigger than they are) Im loving the stingy love here right now. I never really was enamored with small brims in the past, but when you have a really nice one and you find out that they CAN be worn.... they regain some value in my mind.
Thanks Rick!Brim Up! Looks great Joe.
I'm a sucker for the green ones, another great hat! Thanks all for the likes and comments on the Biltmore and Texas Hatters. And now something a little more in the spirit of Stingymas that came to me a while back by way of @BobHufford, a 30s (NRA tagged) Knox:

Very nice and looks great on you.
Thank you gentlemen!A beautiful hat indeed!
Sadly it's just an elastic loop. This one looks very much the same build as my Royal Coachman. And similar body to the four seasons. It seems HCA did a lot with these 1 7/8 Cavanagh edge bodies in this era. That branded wind trolley button caught my eye. Is it functional or is it just on and elastic loop like the Twenty’s had?

While that reference does seem to make sense…. It then bears the question what made them think that was the name for this hat!?!?! LOL.Harry Doyle!!!!!!
Joe, the only thing anyone's come up with that makes ANY sense, is that it's a reference to the fat lady singing.
Well it’s still interesting and a nice touch. If original it would be one of the few or only ones I’ve seen outside of the 1950s Knox twenties.Sadly it's just an elastic loop.
Another gorgeous Knox !!
Total class all the way!
Thanks, guys. The Flying Cloud comes in at #1 or 2 for me amongst my stingy brims. I suspect we’ll see a couple of yours, Joe, in the next few days. That Knox Flying cloud makes a really nice presentation, Gary. You have it shaped perfectly. Give an impression of a brim wider tHan it is.
Thanks, Joe!Stingy adjacent works! Looking good David. Love the scarf.
