When Homicide: Life On The Street was on, Andre Braugher wore a fedora a few times. I always thought he looked sharp with it, in addition to being a wonderful actor.

I agree. I enjoyed the movie but it does seem a little sad to see Indy showing his age....HF still does a great job but it's a little odd to see him aging.

I agree also. I definitely feel a much different "vibe" when I am wearing one of my fedoras with a suit or sport jacket; almost like I am back in the 40s or 50s (I wasnt born until 1962, if that even matters) and thus expected to behave more like a gentleman. If only we had a resurgence of this...

I can't wait to see this film. I admit that after ROTA, I went looking for a cool fedora just like Indy's, but I only found a few knock offs that, to me, didnt' look quite the same. I am still hoping to find one. I have a black Jaxon and two gray ones but not one in brown. Village Hats is...

I haven't received any negative comments yet, ( I am sure they will happen at some point) but I sure have seen a few rather odd looks. Some people look and then try to act like they are NOT looking, which is kinda funny too.

Ive had some similar sensations, but it's usually when I stand up too fast, and it just goes away within about 10 seconds. Still, I would suggest you get it checked anyway, just to be safe. By the way, GWD, just wanted to say the hat in your avatar really suits you well. (no pun intended.)...

ROFL!! That is hilarious, and the same kind of response I would have been tempted to give. Okay, I probably wouldn't have said it out loud but I would have been thinking it.

I steamed the brim last night. (wow, sounds like some sort of weird spy code: "I steamed the brim last night, but the birds came home to nest.") Seemed to help a bit. Still not as stiff as my two new hats, but it certainly is better and not as loose as it was.

Ah, yes, Adamsville. I drive through there and Forestdale every morning, 5 days a week, on my way to work. Nice town. :)
