Excuse my stupid mug! I need to take a bit more time to get it neater but it was pretty easy to do and I think will look better with the ponytail pincurled. Is a nice neat style for work anyway.

It looks great and I'll bet her hair wasn't the gorgeous red that yours is

I FINALLY managed to get a picture of my hair just done. Usually it falls within half an hour, way too fast for a proper picture to be taken.
Ever notice how as soon as you make an appointment to get a haircut is when you start liking your hair, and everybody else does too? Wah!

here is a pic of my first attempt at pin curls that i previously spoke of. what did i do wrong? how can i fix my mistakes?

It's way too long for pin curls, I use pillow rollers, and still trying to get the hang of setting lotion. I guess it's just too fine, and maybe too long? It doesn't fall straight but enough to lose its shape so it's just a bunch of cascading ringlets. Pretty, but not what I want. I just went for the chop today though and got a modified middy, I'm excited to try a set and see how long it holds with shorter hair.

Wow, Penny Dreadful- indeed very Hollywood starlet!
My hair today…. Very pleased- especially as it’s the 9th day in! Wonder if I can make it to the 10th day without washing?
Dodgy photo ( I look so glum!), but it’s the best that shows the front wave…. Sides were swept up and I wore the back quite close. The sticky out bit is a flower!

wow!! Sooo lovely Tups! I'd love to see how you've done the back. I have nothing but admiration and utmost jealousy that you're hair is this lovely on the 9th day in! My hair would be so greasy it would be dripping!

I take horrible pictures of myself. I'll blame the lighting. Anyway, this is my hair cut done today, styled 40s-inspired-modern. It went from almost waist length in back to the bra band, and slopes up to barely past the shoulders in front. I can't wait to see what it looks like properly set

I love that too, it's so sleek I suddenly don't like my old set anymore, which is weird because part of the reason for the cut was to make the set look better lol I think I'll get some bigger rollers and try just doing the bottom to see if I can get something similar but just punched up a little. I'm going to have to learn to do my hair all over again!
