I have been too addicted to Facebook of late. Still was able to see some great hats from folks here on the Lounge. Too much political crap (on both sides) to deal with on Facebook. Ken, Eric, Alan and Dave are about the only ones I have not "snoozed" for 30 days to get past this election stuff. I'm coming back into the fold, miss everyone badly.

The wife is working from home and loving it. I'm just her personal houseboy right now. Oral History practice is on hold, kind of a face to face thing...

My wife and I are doing fine. In my province of 5 million in the 13 months of the pandemic just under 100K infections .... less than 2% of the population has been infected so based on pure numbers I like my odds. Yes, we mask up, no we don't hang out in bars. Hell we have not been to church in a year so from my perspective ain't much to worry about......we are just living our lives but missing dinner with friends.

There has been very little covid on the island after pretty strict measures were taken. Almost half the population is vaccinated, I got my first shot last week. Tourists are starting to show up again, the mandatory quarantine ends next week. I am still careful around people, but not too many at the beach. All my people on Da Mainland are well.

Peace!

About 15 miles east of downtown Los Angeles on the west side of a smallish city named after Quaker and poet John Greenleaf Whittier. We're fine here, thanks for asking. Well, not fine, but asymptomatic as far as COVID-19 is concerned. Under new California guidelines my wife and I become eligible for our first round of shots (anyone/everyone 50 years old and/or older) in two days on April Fools Day, but we can't pre-book appointments so we still don't know when or where we'll get stuck. o_O

I always think it ironic, the asking of the unseen if they are ok should they not be. Like asking someone if they are asleep.
But...you never know who you are going to run into at this digital supermarket called Internet.
So...if you’re not asleep...
Be well and safe.

Doing as well as can be expected here in CT. Lots of people are getting vaccinated.

Personally, It'll be a while before I move in that direction. I've got too many food and drug allergies that are at the top of the list for possible adverse reactions to take a risk.

Maybe later this year.
