I like my Champ a lot, but it’s the only one I have.
You might also find it educational (and fun) to look at the Adam thread. Both of those brands sold hats at cheaper prices than the other big names (Stetson, Dobbs, Knox, etc). Vintage Adam hats enjoy a particularly good reputation here on the Lounge for quality, and you can find both of these brands for often much cheaper prices in online markets (eg, eBay).

The JBS Twenty-Five made it out for a quick shopping trip today (sans liner, which is still de-funkifying). Unfortunately, by the time I made it back home, the stink in the hat and/or sweatband had become evident.
Anyway, I need to try the sweatband installation again - this is probably the messiest job I have ever seen. It’s actually pretty darn challenging to sew these things in (only my second attempt ever), and my hat is off to those Loungers who do so by hand with amazing skill (@Randall Renshaw I’m looking at you!).
This was my first day out in shorts as well. The Allen Edmond loafers have become a mainstay of my wardrobe.

Gorgeous, Don. Ghiaccio ("Ice") is the color, Gorasgu is the model. I know that only because @steur is always showing off samples from his amazing stock of that model!
Thanks Mark. It is a nice felt. Almost like one of my Marque Grand Luxe. I might change the ribbon out to a navy blue instead of black.

When watching barbecue videos on YouTube, I often wish it could transmit the aromas. Right now, I’m glad that technology is not available on my iPad, because this way, it just seems that you”ve got yourself a stunner of a hat. I’m sure it’ll get there eventually.

I too struggle with the cattleman’s crease. I do still. Have a Resistol with one, which often garners compliments, but I’ve changed the other one I had. I much prefer the new crease you’ve given it. Well done!
That's a Borsalino Gorasgu, Don.
The first name is the colour, which means ice. The middle name is the colour of the ribbon; silver grey as in the chemical element.
Borsalino were very inventive with their choices of names. Too inventive perhaps.

Thanks for thinking of me, Nathan, but I’ve got three hats I’m workin on right now that I’ve agreed to do. I’ll probably take a few hat repair jobs in the later future.
