Good Eyes! Yes it is Miles Davis. I was a professional musician in my early years. Never got to play with Miles, but I did get to sit in with Count basie before he passed. I have posters of miles all over my studio basement. Thanks!

That Knox IS a really neat looking hat. Purely in terms of it's outward appearance, is there a modern production hat you'd care compare it to, particularly the crown? That hat is very sharp!

I really don't know, I've only ever had used felts, and only one new straw, which I ditched after a season. Someone else could probably tell you better.kiltie said:

What really makes the look, at least for me, is the wide ribbon, long bow, and the very wide bow tie.
