I agree with Sefton--La Rosa has a great selection of vintage clothing. I visited on Saturday, and I was impressed with the great selection--and the fantastic marking and dating of suits, ties, shirts; they really know their stuff. I'm spending the weekend there myself and research suggests a stop at Cable Car Clothiers, a British men's shop in the Financial district. Any hats they have will be modern, not vintage (I'll make my stop at La Rosa first! :) ). Sounds like a cool place, if pricey, from what I've read...- jazzncocktails

recommendations for a new straw summer hat.
I'm not a huge fan of Village Hat Shop, particularly their Jaxon line. On the recommendation of fellow Loungers, I bought a Milan straw from Miller Hats a couple of months ago, and it's turned out to be a great, relatively inexpensive summer hat.
