Another Aero Halfbelt Question

Does Aero's standard '50's Halfbelt have pleats in the back where the back panel meets the top of the false belt?
Aero's website says it does but I have been told that it doesn't anymore as the website info is out of date pending a new website.
Just wondering how current Aero '50's Halfbelts are being delivered?

Look on the Aero website at "Close up details"...then click on "HalfBelt backs". It shows that the '50s HB pleats are actually two folds near each end of the false belt..rather than stitched pleats. The '30's halfBelt actually has double folded pleats..as pictured on mine below....

I just noticed that on my new Bootlegger(that has the same back pattern as the '50s HalfBelt)...there are "no" folded pleats! Perhaps it's true that the new HBs are now changed!
Here's a pic of the back from several weeks ago..stiff and new right out of the box...
