Anyone have any info at all on the Snyder's Hat company?

Has anyone ever heard of Snyder's Hats? I've come accross hats by them only twice on ebay and bought this derby today - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230053984523 - I've done a search on this site as well as Google but haven't been able to find anything at all. All hits were references to the Stetson book by another Snyder (perhaps related?). Were they a store like Bond's? Any idea as to age?

Surely there must be someone on this forum who has heard of or knows something about Snyder's hats? Even if just a passing reference in some book? Or a hat they came across somewhere?

1. I was searching the threads and I came across one that has the exact same question I have. Found one in a vintage store today and snagged it for $30. Just a curiosity piece this point but I was looking to see if anyone has any knowledge of this label? I'll try to get a pic uploaded but the one I have is too large to upload.
