Howdy y’all! I finally got my exchange done with Schott and received a jacket free of issues that I want to keep and wanted to get you fine folks opinions about the fit. It feels good to me. It’s a little tight but I can still move fine and get it zipped with my thickest sweater. Also after taking these photos I realize these jeans don’t fit me the best and would love some cheap recommendations around $50. I always have issues finding jeans that are just right. My legs are too muscular for slim fit which these are but straight fit tend to be too baggy. I’d ideally have them slim but not cling to me like these do and fit well in the seat. All that is to say I know the jeans don’t look the best.

The Jacket is a 44 which is my chest size and my typical suit size. Ill almost always be rocking this thing with a tank top as it hardly gets cold enough to layer here in Memphis.

P.s. I have some enamel pins I’d like to put on the jacket but can’t bring myself to poke a hole in this thing. So, I am trying to find a solution perhaps using neodymium magnets. If you have any thoughts or ideas about this please let me know! Thanks again for all the help you folks have provided thus far! Cheers!

P.p.s. Thanks for the merger benevolent mod! I didn’t think to check for an aggregate thread.
Looks great - fits great. What Schott number is that?

Yeah I think a size up would get a bit to big in the sleeves, shoulders and so on so I'd say you nailed the sizing :)

It's a gorgeous jacket(and a real classic model!) that will age amazing, please keep us updated how it ages mate!

Cheers
Will do! Cheers!

The fit is good! You don't want a loose fit if you plan to wear just a tank top under. I would recommend a second jacket with more chest room for layering.

Hey folks,

Recently picked up a campus jacket from Mister freedom. Read from a few other reviews that the hem/torso is a bit wide and I am finding that to be true. I'm 6'0", 205lbs and I've got long arms and broad shoulders so sizing down likely isn't an option (this is a 44!). I don't think I mind a bit of a boxier fit for this one but curious how it looks to others. What do you think? Thanks in advance!

I have that jacket in the same size. The body is a little big in my torso, and I am swimming in those arms. The 42 size is just too tight on me. I am 5'8 185lbs when I am on a diet. lol. To me, your jacket looks a little short in the arms. Your upper body and arms dimensions makes the jacket look short on the sleeves. Some people like that look. Try the good old right arm bent to the middle of your chest. See how far the sleeves comes away of the wrist. Evaluate how that looks to you. This will give you an idea how your sleeve react to movements. If you are happy with the way the sleeves looks to you, then rock that thing.

Thanks for the input. Yeah, agreed the sleeves are a tad short. Pretty used to this being the norm so I think I can live with it as a gorilla armed person
