Ah I see, you will definitely need the size 44 in the Y2 single rider. It will fit within 1/2 size as your Aero 1930s half belt in size 42. The Y2 single rider in 42 is just too small for you. I was in the same place. When I first got into Y'2 I got size 42, and I could put them on but not move around. 44 in Y2 is your size for the single rider. Some of their other jackets are more generous cut but the single rider is as slim as they go. Love their indigo horsehide, it's great hide.Good to know, I am def more into the single rider compared to the type III but maybe I will try it out. It is a tagged 42, same as the aero, and measurements are close, but yeah must be because of the sleeve design.
Maybe with a combo of me losing some weight, and a bit of a break in it will be worth keeping.
Any ideas of nice single rider styles that are similar but with better armholes for someone like me?
