Sleeves are too short. Looks like the back would feel lumpy when sitting in a car. Sleeves also look like they are bulky and bothersome. It just does not look flattering. The boxy cropped look reminds me more of a women's style.
The back would not only feel lumpy when sitting in a car the adjustment strap and buckle will damage leather seats.
I can’t remember when but a few months ago there was a post on the forum from someone who had experienced that very same problem when wearing an Aero Leather Shackleton waistcoat and they ended up actually removing the entire adjuster strap.

I have both IH N1 and RMC N1. There's 2 main differences:
1) Side Pockets - IH is lined with the same alpaca lining as the inside. RMC is unlined.
2) Sleeve lining - IH has the quilted satin lining. RMC is lined with wool / alpaca.

For me, I feel warmer in the IH, however, the RMC fits me better.

That's what customer service reps told me. I bought another Iron Heart in Khaki because it is easier to match with my clothes than the black one. The ball is up in the air as to whether I will sell my black IH deck jacket or not.

Looks like the sizing is correct from the pics you’ve linked. As has been said above, the cut of the jacket is what it is, range of motion will be reduced compared to an action or true sports jacket.

I’m a little longer in the torso, and find the dipped / longer jackets difficult to find. Especially since I like the cleaner look of the hem being just below the belt line.

I have a jacket which I’m also on the fence with, so possibly similar advice is to wear it, find what you like to wear it with (or what you wear beneath it), and enjoy.

i just picked this up off marketplace and figured id post some nasty bathroom mirror selfies. Dont mind the kum n go tshirt, i think they dont exost anymore. Anyway, i had a fox creek grayson in a 50r that was too short. I moved that then came across this 141 in a 50 long. I Feel like it fits ok, even though its a shade big, i dont think id be able to move in the 48. Thepart that has me second quessing this are the holes for the wrists and neck are huge for an mc jacket and the neck is floating up my neck. Its kind of a wierd fit and im not sure if it will settle out or not. Opinions? Oh, yes, i know the sleeves are longer than most of you guys wear, but it was actuallyintended for use on a bike.

Thanks!

Schott 689H in size 36. I'm 5'11" 170lbs. I was looking for a slimmer fit, but its growing on me. Still wondering if sizing down would have been better. I uploaded a video for a bit of movement, sorry the photos are screen grabs.
