The return of the MISCHIEF. (Not sure why we ever decided to call it that, but this works.)

Time for stingy-brim partisans to resurrect their own secret fraternity. I mean, most of us are also card-carrying members of the OR Guild, or the Borso Brotherhood, or whatever -- but the MISCHIEF too is a crucial demographic.

In fact, the fashion world is arguably on our side. With the exception of the great Johnny Depp, most current fedora-clad icons wear stingies. Pete Doherty, for instance, is definitely on our team. (Although I'm not sure they let him wear a fedora in prison.)

Tuscany Dobbs with Cushion-Aire!

The hat in my avatar is one of my all-time faves: a tall stingy Dobbs, probably from the fifties, with patented Cushion-Aire corrugated sweat band. The color is very very dark grey -- almost black -- which for some reason they call "Tuscany." I wear it unpinched. Cost $17.50 back in the day -- not trivial.
