I wish I had bought one a year ago. They were selling at the Outlet for $40. Now they raised the price to $90! Still a good deal though. (I can rationalize anything

The million dollar question for a lot of the hats made by Stetson now....

New Borsalino Pocket Hat 1954?

A lucky find during a late night stumble through ebay. This is a rollable that is meant to rock and roll.

Year of birth? It is mine. manufacturing label is without borsalino on the side. Palladio/Ecosan

There was a strip of thin blotter paper placed between the fabric sweat and moisture barrier. I removed it.

This is the softest hat I've ever handled. It weighs 2.2 ounces.

"Straw" and "Milan" are not mutually exclusive.

Superb! 2.2 oz. with liner is astonishingly light. Will be most interesting to see how well the felt holds its shape.

True however to be more specific as to the weave one can say a panama versus a milan. Since it is a shantung it really isn't even a straw---it is paper.

I like that one too... but I sometimes go for the weird stuff.

Thanks for the notes on the pocket hat. I think this is going to plump up really nicely.
