I am looking for the descrbed model to make leather hatboxes with. These are usually treddle models and that would be fine by me but I would consider an electric one as well.

I've actually had my eye out for one for myself.

Try looking at the Tripmann machine too. Single stiching for heavy leather, almost like a harness shop.
