It is so hard to keep up with the conversation on this thread. I think (hope) we all understand and appreciate the posts and comments. I too love the color combination in this hat... reminds me of a modern Borsalino Como that I owned for a while, which had the same colors in the ribbon/felt coordination, though reversed. Lovely hat.

Wearing an old 4X, it’s a shade darker than the pic. I love the pre-plastic and pre-oilskin Stetsons!

You're right, it needs a tassel. I'm not sure the long velvet is the best choice for biking, though it might be fun to try it. Maybe with the one I got today.

Thanks Stefan. This one goes through dry spells, but I think I had it out only a week or two ago. The tall square block and very thin felt make it feel quite old to me.

That's a beauty, Jim. Great color in the sunshine.

    Thanks,
    Michael

This...this just might be my favorite post of your eclectic attire ever. In all seriousness, the fact you give little to no f***s about conforming to societal norms is inspirational. If you went shopping for groceries in this you'd one up The Dude. Thanks, Michael.

Wearing my new black Vagabond today. It was stained and misshapen, and Ignacio made it like new. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Super nice! That’s a great sweat band, I love how it’s stamped.

More great work from Ignacio too!

Ha ha, I think they are one size fits all, Jim. I couldn't resist another one today, this one for a Noble Grand.

I expect I'll be wearing it for tomorrows coffee. They were made in New London Ohio between 1888 and 1913.

Wasn't Norms that guy on Cheers? The Mans at Home robe or banyan was pretty much standard fare from sometime in the 16th century until the 20th. We've just forgotten about it. An example from ~1750

Thanks Max. Those were a pair of nice hats you were showing today.

    Thanks,
    Michael
