What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Well, once more into the breach. I had to make a quick run to pick up a couple things in preparation for some serious lockdown action over the next week or two. Plus, I needed to drop off a package.

What better way to ward off a pandemic than with a Demon?

And because sunshine.

I miss getting up every day and picking a hat out.
If that doesn't do it, nothing will. Nobody's stopping you from still picking a hat every day, Jim: it's healthy!

Thought I'd try something different than the 30 hats in 30 days taht Joe and Randall are going for. I'll base my hat choice around a theme. We'll start off with English week (which should last me well into next week as well, but we'll see).

Beautiful one Stefan. Looks like the same color as my Borsalino Ecosan from you.
Love the thin ribbon and unique bow.
Thanks, Tim. It is very close to the Borsalino Averla colour. The ribbon is very unusual; I considered altering it when I first got it, but it is how the hat is supposed to be. I like it now.

Very nice, Randall. I like that ribbon width.

Fabulous conversion, Terry. Works without a brim binding as well.

Another fantastic parade of hats, Eric. A joy to see.

So that's what brings out these blue skies all of a sudden. Glorious colour, Tim.
Thank you steur!

J. Hückel´s Söhne / Jaques Mayer "Standard" possibly late 1920s early 1930s. Possibly a custom made in collaboration with Jaques Mayer Hutfabrik Bratislava. It has a very wide brim for the style so very unique. I found this hat back in March 2016.

Nice hat, Steve! If it were mine, I would simply HAVE to nick name it my
“Homb-Brero” or, “Hombrero”.
Like a Sombrero and homburg had a baby.

I meant nothing mean by this innocuously, humorous comment. :)
