He smiles too much.
Nice hat. I wish I liked Whippets on my head. They don't look right on me.
Go Dolphins. It seems all the ones I grew up with are starting to die off. Poor Jim Kiick. He had a horrible last decade.
Was sad to hear of Jim Kiick passing. I got to meet him.. gosh like 25 or so years ago when we were preparing him and Kim Bokamper for a charity pro wrestling match for the Y-100 Wing Ding a big annual event they used to hold in Hollywood, FL
Heck of a nice hat Perry
Thanks Joe. I like your hat and upside down Dolphin!
You call that smiling? You should see him after he collects his doctor's fee!
Good to see you again, Mb!
Always good to see you TJ.
You bought it! Awesome. I saw it just sitting there for about a week - I was tempted to grab it myself so it didn't fall to a reseller. But I already have a brown size 7 nutria quality sitting here collecting dust!
A lot of the old film stars wore their hats back farther than I do. You can see their faces better when worn back. Old photos show them being worn in all sorts of positions, but like you I have a preferred way to wear them and I involuntarily cringe when I see them worn “wrong.” A bit OCD I guess.
You are a good man for sharing and your Doc is a good man for wearing!
Thank you buddy.
Yup. Some pushed back, some at a tilt, some sitting level, and some pulled down. Film noir has a lot of variations of hat styles and the different ways people wore them.
Wegener "Seal" possibly mid 1950s. The felt color and Chamois finish are fantastic. Also a very nice bow design.
Wow great hat!
On today to the Musketeer.... maybe this will be a Stetson week.
Late posting but yesterday was pretty nice temperature wise in North Texas. It didn't get out of the 70s, was overcast, and rainy. So felt was in order. I have just been waiting to the right circumstances to wear this Borsalino Lontra. This is the first I've worn it since sending it to Mike Miller to shape for me. This hat is so light and soft - it's kinda hard to get rid of the wrinkles.
Super hat Joe. You need two more to make it a trio!
Looks fantastic Bill.
