Today....dusty roads rowboat Nutria.
Be well and safe.
Very cool Bowen
Two hat kind of day. First is a hat I love the style of but I am still unsure if I can pull it off or if I look like a goal post. Robert Hall pork pie. I also wish I bought it in beige rather then black.
And again my bird busting Akubra Cattleman for some yard work.
Have a great first day of fall everyone.
I have a pork pie that I haven’t worn yet for the same reason. You pull it off almost as well as Heisenberg, Johnny.
Stetson Twenty-five Open Road this evening.
Looking good on both accounts
The pork pie suits you well.
Now that looks like the real thing, Perry!
The fog rolling in at the end of a beautiful coastal California afternoon sees me still in this Panama that I found in a thrift store and finished myself a few years back. It's not the finest weave I own, but it's nicely woven and well, you know it's gonna fit right when you make it for your own head...
Have a great day!
Couple new hats today
this one from Randy...
The Eagle by Stetson - Royal De Luxe
A somewhat similar Royal Stetson that arrived the day before.
I believe both of these hats date to late 50s early 60s based on the mixed fraction keyhole size tags

Mayser Panama for the first day of Autumn. Nobody said anything about wearing a straw out of season.
This is from yesterday but I finally got around to posting. It's a bit of an unusual hat for me. The brim is narrow at 2 1/4" and the crown is only 3 3/4". Even so, it is one of my favorite fall hats. 1950s Christys' of London "Wildfowl Mixture". It has two colors of felt mixed (elder green and woodcock brown). I also don't generally like feathers in my hats but, in my mind, this hat needs a feather.
The other Penney's Marathon
Dunlap Saturn 2 Space Weight
Royal De Luxe Stetson “The Gun Club”.
Morning escapades in a vintage Stetson Stratoliner (sage hued felt).
Cheers, Eric -
A great style for you Bob.
Stetson Week-Ender Zephy. Notice the perforations under the ribbon. I had never seen that before
Cool pattern on the ribbon.
Johnny the black pork pie looks fine; you pull it of well.
