I think it's been said that courage is acting despite fear. If that's the case, I was brave twice today.

We've had our first taste of winter weather today, getting a couple of inches of "wintery mix." I wore my rabbit fur Sterkowski to work today, and it suffered no ill affects from doing so. Then I came home, and as I like being a good neighbor, saw the sidewalk in front of my house needed shoveling. I changed from my Sterkowski to my Akbura Campdraft, and went to work. Sidewalk, driveway, and even cleared the runnels leading to the gutter.

I think my Campdraft has survived, and it was raining pretty steadily. Whew!

A CD can take more than that! Say what you want, but they're tanks.

I have to say, when I read in another post that you were staying in a miner’s house, THAT house is not what I had pictured. Looks like fun, have a great trip!

Outstanding Borsalino Jim. That liner logo looks OLD! Do you have an ideas as to it's age?

Fine looking hat from the Daniele connection in Europe! What are the details of this hat like? Liner?

Red Bailey, red suspenders. Off to do some errands. The other is my Country Gentleman. Cleared my driveway, this is a wool hat. It got pretty wet as it was still snowing, shook it off and was almost completely dry. I was impressed.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

I believe it's 50s. I did a little research at the time I got it on the retailer, but I'd need to go back to the Borsa thread and find it. It's a well-worn liner tip, though.
