Transitional. Era unknown, but likely a Hat Corporation of America product from the 1940s.
That is an awesome hat and it suits you very well.... congrats.
Love the doggie too!
Color me a dark shade of envy green!
Perfect glasses, too.
Such a beautiful unique old fedora worn fabulously!
Early 40s Vita-Felt.
Since it was missing when I bought it and the only thing Amiss with this wonderful old fedora I had to make an era correct size tag.
This and a late 40s Knox will stand in my collection as my only black fedoras.
Gorgeous hats (and pics) as always, Eric.
The ribbon on that Lion kills it, Joe.
Excellent hat, Dave.
The crowning achievement of straw season, Jim.
Well, it works: you're landing lots of them! Nice!
Impeccable must be your middle name, Fabio.
Let's face it though: you MUST wear that one, Joe.

With the weather cooling down a bit here, I was hoping to pull out a felt hat, but the weather gods were not having it. Up again to 30c. Still, the Akubra Range (Etsuko’s favourite of my summer hats) hasn’t had much head time this year, so it was good to have a chance to wear it.
Etsuko’s in a Maxim.
