Outstanding hats both, gentlemen.
You look a bit cold, Reggie. That hat should make you feel warm!
What? And ruin your perfect track record following memos? What is the world coming to?
Today, my Start on TAR Thursday.
I LOVE my Dobbs 40. One of the nicest hats ever. The color on yours is gorgeous.
Another day another new Borsalino colour. Misto Acciaio (heather steel) this time. Model is Ergosca. No full picture set available yet, but soon.
Well now, i could ohh and ahh for a good while over this one Stefan. I just bet ya it sparkles in the sunlight. Very nice.
Thanks, Bowen. It turned out a very nice one after I combed its hair. Still, not in the same league as the angora ones you and Mike have in custody. Is yours a Gorascu model too by the way?
The Lembert Velour today.
Have a great day!

I recognized that size tag as you did. I have a Bradford with that same tag, as well as the Kevin McAndrew I recently acquired. The liners are also very similar. Desert Dog found some interesting info on a few hat companies that was owned by Byer - Rolnick. I knew about Resistol and Bradford but I was surprised to learn that Byer - Rolnick also had Church Hill and Kevin McAndrew.
TONAK "Formerly Hückel" "Zephyr Seal Velour" made for the American Market, late 1940s early 1950s.

Must have missed the velour memo of today, but these two hats have it well covered. Great hats.
Quite the hat, Steve. I love the size tag.
Indeed it is a Gorascu Stefan.
