New life for this rough and too small vintage Bradford Saddler, (early '60s?). A generous Lounger gifted this one to me. I was glad I could save this one and make it into something else. The old Bradfords are among my favorites. I was able to reuse everything original to the hat except for the sweat, which was rotted out.

On the block and sized up to a 7 1/4 LO:

That’s beautiful, Terry. Did the brim
Get shorter as you went up or did the felt stretch?

Thank you David. The whole block shape was changed and I went up a size, and to a LO. The brim started out at 2 3/4 and I ended up at 2 5/8 with some very slight variances that would actually go totally unnoticed unless I pointed it out.

Thank you, Robert. I like to think of this Cervo as being more of a greyish colour, but it certainly does have green tones. The colour name is Cardiff. Here it is next to a Borsalino hat in the colour Lupo (wolf).

Amazing, now I am not sure if it's the light to blame............................or the Jack Daniels!

Great work. 2 5/8 is my favorite brim size for a thin ribbon—that one looks like it will get a lot of head time.
