Thanks, Robert. Looks like you're looking forward to spring already (can't say I blame you).
Away from hats for a second Stefan. I live on the edge of The New Forest in southern England. Today Tina had put out a packet of almonds looking rather dry. She asked me to throw them out for the birds. Seeing me crushing them she looked puzzled. "It's Spring," I said "fledglings, little beaks, choke easy." She flung her arms around me and gave me kisses. "How thoughtful of you," she said. You can bring Spring on as soon as you like.

SBCD for some grocery shopping. The shirt is a Pendleton. Like many others here, I’ve long admired Perry’s collection of shirts, so when I came across a Pendleton shirt here in Japan, I snapped it up. It helped that it was really cheap. One of those shops that sells well known brands cheaply, but where you’ll never find the same thing twice. Fortunately, they had one in my size. I got this and a pair of Clarks Wallabees for less than a hundred bucks.

Followed by another Akubra, my Cattleman for making home cured bacon and grilling some chicken. View attachment 490809 View attachment 490810
Great choice on hat and Pendleton, Gary. Stay vigilant, store the shirt well, and as long as the bugs don’t get to it you’ll have it for many more years. I have a couple closets full, even some heirlooms inherited from my father, uncle from the 1960s. My father-in-law ONLY would wear Wallabees!

Very nice, Joe. Hope it was some proper German food.
Indeed it was…. A bit of heaven really.
Nice! Don't see enough Lee hats here.
Thanks Stefan. They really made some nice hats. Surprisingly or (or maybe not so surprisingly)… It is possible I have reached the point I could maybe do a “Lee week”. Definitely if I throw in some likely Lee Marathons :)
