1940's Stetson 3X VitaFelt. Randall cleaned and rebuilt it and de-Westernized it by swapping the smaller ribbon for this larger one. The last pic is before the work was done.

Business took me away on Friday and I did not share my Stetson Whippet doing duties for a yard chore.

Yesterday afternoon I was comfy under a PHD Montecristi Fino Havana. The blocked shape of a Havana and a 2.5" brim work for me. Like many others if I could make a change I would ask for more crown. It is a good thing I am short and smaller as the crown works.

Later a Gannon Playboy and I enjoyed a walkabout sipping a pilsner. I did add the red liner last night.

Back home from work this morning and wore an unlined Stetson Playboy for a walkabout.

Morning coffee under the brim of an Adam thin ribboned fedora.

I went to the grocery store in a bigger ribboned Adam fedora.

The Pliant-Eze sweat band was totally comfy.

I cut the lawn under the brim of a hat I picked up at our former cabin in Ely, MN at the local hardware store. I recall it was under $10 and it has served duty for a few decades. Works like a charm for sweaty yard chores. Plus it has a cool green brim.

After my lawn tasks I mulled about wearing a PHD Montecristi Super Fino Havana. The 3" brim does provide shade like an umbrella would. I dashed over to get a car wash and made myself a peach/strawberry smoothie to sip when I got home.

Wearing my new pre Stetson or pre 1946 Mallory Classic for the first time, just as it arrived, except I've reshaped the crown. Gonna need cleaning and some stitches in sweatband. Very nice felt.
