I live in Elsinore on the island of Zealand. I'm 40 minutes or so away from Copenhagen. Sadly, I'm not at all close to where you are. In fact, I'm closer to Sweden.

I have a grand total of four straw hats and none of them are much to write home about. This one is also not quite my style but I started moving out of my rental unit today and he’s the best worker of the bunch, so he got called up. I guess we’ll see a lot of action together this next month.

A fine hat for this fine weather, anyone recognise the tie fabric?



Tina can get creative with the off-cuts. I once suggested a hatband from every shirt, with a Velcro fastening. The long withering stare told me that was not a good idea.

Lets have a touch of color this morning. This poor little royal stetson was neglected, abused, rode hard and put up wet before it found a home on my wall.. Love the green ribbon and binding in contrast to the orangish- brown felt

Temps in the high nineties today so this one might not be the best choice but it is what attracted me this morning...so here we go ! Huckel in Chocolate Brown with contrasting bound brim & hatband.

Its a Caribou Temple day! its 7 am and Ive already been to the gym, Have one hat sloshing and soaking in a cleaning bath,(will clean a second hat later while Ive got the white gas out) Threw the frisbee to the dog about 100 times, and now its time to head over to the coffee shop. Busy morning so far!

Today's choice is my Selentino Queen in Olive Green. The proportions of this hat and the thin ribbon appears to me to be their version of a Stratoliner. All in all a pretty nice hat in my opinion.

I’m a big fan of The First Name In Hats and this was the first Majestic quality Adam I found years ago. I’ve had many since, but never found another with a pugeree.
