That blue-green patina at the ferrule is verdigris. Clean it off with diluted white vinegar before it eats a hole thru the felt. Google for threads on dilution of white vinegar & verdigris on the forum..

Another cap day - but I should have worn a straw.

My niece took me for my first golf experience this morning. We hit the driving range and I wasn’t sure about a full brim so I went with the JBS silk cap instead.

We had a blast and I got some good swings in. This game is real fun - but definitely better under a full brim….

Awhile back I felt lucky to add a Mr. Disney Fifteen fedora to my modest collection and thought I had scratched that itch. Then the other day I stumbled onto this one, another Fifteen...but this one is made of Otter. Naturally I was curious what to expect. The felt on this one is very soft to the touch unlike my other Mr. Disney , or most of my other hats made with beaver content. The Pewter Gray color with matching ribbon looks especially sharp in the sunlight.
