That is a nice one. The blue comes through pretty well.

Thanks Doug. That's an old Bob Allen Sportswear knit Jacket/cardigan from when they were still making their stuff in Des Moines.

Thanks Steve. I think it's been four or five years that I've been taking daily clothes photos. I had a bit of built up burnout. Ha ha.

Thanks Edward. Yes, I agree. Heat and humidity does get less tolerable with age. Today it is close to perfect here, in my mind. Low 70s, cloudy, nice breeze, low humidity = Heaven.

    Thanks all,
    Michael

Why the forbidding look in the first pic, John?

    Very nice.
What did you size up from?
Beaver Brand seems to run large.

    I opened the 50s Strat.
If you tire of people commenting on your hat, take up the kilt.[IMG]

Cooler temps prevailed the last couple of days.

A green Knox Vagabound is a grand unlined hat.

A Lee Adventure unlined was the hat choice for a dog walk and dog soiree.

Chores in a VS fedora. This ha is a dove beaver felt with a thin ribbon treatment inspired by the Stratoliners.

A vintage Stetson Playboy was a grand choice for a hardware store errand.

I've worn a few kilts in my time. Was told if it sits below the knee it's a kilt, above the knee it's a skirt......hmmmm, I think I see some knee there. ;)

A skirt should even further divert conversation from your hat, then!

I have another kilt, also a "utilikilt", but heavier and more carefully measured, from a source that also sells tartan kilts at more than one price point.
I believe the length measurement was taken to the center of the knee.
This inexpensive, lightweight one is perhaps a wee bit short.

Stetson Bantam this morning. Gray un-lined felt goodness is incredibly light to wear.
