P. & C. Habig Wien "Special Qualität" "Special Zefir" "Ventilo", "Custom Made for Fritz Rheinhardt, Frankfurt a. M." possibly late 1940s early 1950s. This is a really high quality Soft Felt that I haven't worn in a while. I found this Soft Felt back in 2012.

P. & C. Habig Wien tended not to use Sweatband Bows on their Soft Felt Hats.

P. & C. Habig Vienna crest used for export to non-German speaking countries. Highly possible it was displayed in one of the P. & C. Habig locations in Vienna. I found this piece back in 2012.

That is a fine looking black hat and as always, great work on the black hat pics.

I recently got into caps. This is a @Simonds custom 8 dart flat cap made from vintage Boucle wool.
The food shot is inspired by Gary @The Shoe . I prepared baked salmon with fresh rosemary, grilled onions and lemon served with stir fried veggies.
Hat & salmon both look great!
I rarely get to do fish. Etsuko likes it raw. So do I, but just occasionally, I’d like to cook some.

How did it go by so quickly. I think we down here in FL had about 2 “cold” days and 3 or 4 cool
Yeah it did go by quickly. We were very lucky in the Delaware Valley this winter. It has been cold, but not frigid, we missed all the storms and we have had no snow to talk about. I’m sorting through the winter hats and getting ready to put them up for the season.
