Glorious hat, Steve. Great ribbon treatment as well.Oberbayerische Hutfabrik gmbH. Miesbach "Edelweiss-Hut" "Chamois" possibly mid to later 1950s. The Chamois Felt is of very high quality. Found this NOS Chamois back in 2020.

Don't let that storm relieve you of that fine Barbisio Stefan, a great hat and although grey can be neutral in that it will compliment most outfits, that one has too much impact to be described as neutral.
Over on the WTF Hats, Randy posted this aesthetically challenged example. It's that kind of image that put me off brighter colours for hats.
When I had this blazer made I went against the grain and had a blue fedora, a bright blue fedora. It's growing on me.

Still a way to go, but I can zip up the sleeves now without the leather digging into my wrists too badly.
