With the rain having stopped a bit, I went with a lightweight Borsalino in uranio color. This one seems to be from a shop in Rome called Donald. I first thought it might be a style name, but seeing it referenced in another Borsalino hat of a different style led me to believe it is the shop.

My Italian is non-existent, but that does look like a shop address, so a shop name would be a reasonable conclusion. If you ever visit that way, it's be interesting to track down the address and see what's there now!

According to Google (and other searches) it is a location of small shops, but none of that name currently. It looks to be the store name along with the proprietor's name.

Dobbs Rosebud. Some sort of polystraw in a Milano weave. Picked up some months ago on eBay for buttons (perhaps too many among the target market for this hat model felt their masculinity somewhat threatened by a fetching shade of Lavender?). Entire outfit for the day based around it. Neckwear was originally intended to be a Lavender bow, but then my new Fouders Club tie arrived in time for the perfect opportunity for its debut.
I love the whole outfit, Edward: very dapper yet not too formal - and it screams "Summer!" - in a truly elegant way. Inspiring, Sir!

Hückel Weilheim "Exklusiv" possibly late 1950s. I found this Homburg Hat back in 2009.

Original Hückel Weilheim "Exklusiv" Case. The above Homburg Hat came with this case.

Thank-you, Gentlemen. The hat was the inspiration for the lot. I often do that: if I'm not dressing to a specific hat, I'll dress to a particular pair of shoes, or a tie... I think this is an ensemble that will be making a reappearance before the Summer is out, though.

You have their number Edward, the hat not only looks the part, it does as you intended and tops out your fabulous appearance.

The trousers are a tad high but, being Tina made, they fit perfectly, I just need to slacken off the braces/suspenders. My bespoke Susqhehana tops out the seersucker blazer and all.

Optimo Week - day 2

I think this is their "Manhattan". It has the center dent and the thin brim ribbon. On their site they have it snapped down and with a pinch, but I prefer mine with no pinch, brim up. I actually can't remember where I got this one. It wasn't eBay, it wasn't Poshmark, and it wasn't TRR. This was before I had a standardized system for logging hat purchases. I'm going to go back through and see if I can figure it out.

It has one little moth nip on the underside of the brim, but it doesn't hurt my feelings too much.

Optimo "Manhattan" in whatever mid-grey/taupe they call this color. I love this one with the lighter ribbon.
