These are my everyday shoes, very comfortable. I took out the kiltie as it looks a little funny on me. Let's see... I bought these in July or August, and have worn them almost every day since. I do have to add a little arch support, but still they are more comfortable than my tennis shoes...

Mmm... I make a lemon-shortbread with super-lemony glaze. Always delicious, but I use a pound of butter for one batch. It doesn't help that I eat most of the cookies myself. I could share the recipe, but you'd probably stone me after eating your fifth batch of cookies and stepping on the scale!

Do any of you ladies make your own slips? I know Elaina mentioned making her own, and I was wondering if there are any tricks or guidelines to follow (with the fabrics). I am thinking about making myself a slip from flannel for the winter. Is this practical?

Here is my lovely brown suit! Detail: This was my great-aunt's suit from way back, I'm not sure on the date (any ideas?). She made it herself, and did a beautiful job. Lucky me... apparently I am her exact size! I do need to find or make a nice dickey or two, now!
