Very nice! Do You know the maker? I have an old Navajo band but it adds about three ounces to the hat, making it no so much fun to wear.

Thank you, Alan. Unfortunately this is unmarked from what I’ve seen. I haven’t thoroughly inspected but I see no initials or hallmark stamps... luckily it was a very reasonable price and passes the home tests for sterling, I would like to know for sure though.

The autumn sky when it is overcast and will remain for days looks like this.

The color is very close to this "differently called" Borsalino felt in "Bismuto"

Charles Hatters High Quality size 60 cm. or 7 1/2 US, probably built in the Vanzina factory in Pavia. The paper label is the same as that of Borsalino and trying to deduce the year of construction it can be assumed that it was made in 1978.

The ribbon and the hem of the brims is in slight contrast with the color of the felt.
The hat arrived new from the large Merano deposit of the remnants of the M. Hutter shop.

Thanks for the likes and your words to know the situation in Italy.
We are in the middle of the second wave and we need to be strong and alert.
