Would much rather have a vintage (who wouldn't), but this modern Whippet will do for now. Another day at my local beach. I think from the same era my Stetsonian has nicer felt and cut, but I do like the color of this one.

Ahh the Japanese Whippet! Very nice! I love that they went all out down to the keyhole tag. I wish they would do more vintage reproductions.

Thanks, I got it before Art retired but I have not had it out in a while. It is/was an off the rack hat so it was a great deal. Not sure if VS is still selling them that way. I was coveting some other members hat the other day and I figured out this hat is very similar to the one posted but in a different color so my Hat Acquisition Sydrome has abated for a little while.

I wore my last hat before Art retired just yesterday. I got one of the 13 "Glacier" felts Art had in his inventory and I'm glad that I did. It turned out great, if I do say so myself.

Yes I had a hard time telling what the Glacier really looked like and I remember you guys buying the felts. When I saw the hats you had made and how nice they look I was sorry I did not jump on that too. Your hat does look wonderful.
