I'll be very disappointed if we don't get at least one space shuttle out of jeo while he's wearing the jacket.
Haha. It’s a Sportclad, Jeo better figure out how to mine asteroids.

Thank you, I appreciate that. You've got yourself a cultural artifact there, jeo. Forget about all the cool jackets we've seen daily. This one here is INDEED one hell of a jacket.
Pretty sure it's a Spaceclad. Jeo has his work set before him.Haha. It’s a Sportclad, Jeo better figure out how to mine asteroids.
I think I'm going to rivet that one up, fancy cow poke style! You're relentless
Very nice shade of blue on that suede!
a strangely terrifying quoteI think I'm going to rivet that one up, fancy cow poke style!
Would it be a crime to use urad on this to put color back into it? Or should I just use obenaufs to hydrate it?Nice! Patina king right there. California Sportswear made. Can’t give you an exact date but it’s between 1950-1955.
Completely up to you. Do you like patina?Would it be a crime to use urad on this to put color back into it? Or should I just use obenaufs to hydrate it?
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Urad won’t moisturize leather. If it’s dry Urad shouldn’t be the first conditioner you use. Use an oil first, then Urad to seal it up. Urad is wax. The dark brown Urad will make that jacket look showroom new but if the leather needs hydrating, address that first with a conditioner.Would it be a crime to use urad on this to put color back into it? Thanks! I used obenaufs and it’s looking healthier.Urad won’t moisturize leather. If it’s dry Urad shouldn’t be the first conditioner you use. Use an oil first, then Urad to seal it up. Urad is wax. It just drank almost a whole bottle of obenaufs. Super dry.Completely up to you. Do you like patina?
The only reason I’d say to do anything to it is if it’s dry. Is it dry?

Heres how it looks now:I wouldn’t do anything more. That’s good stuff.
I personally like using 100% neatsfoot oil for hydration/conditioning. I also like all the Saphir products (their mink oil the least) as well as Leatherhoney.
I hate Urad. That **** is disgusting. Makes me want to puke just smelling it. I’ll only ever use the clear Urad in the tiniest amounts to cover any small areas of color loss. Does a good job with that but so do many other products.
How does it look now?
Heres how it looks now: View attachment 587916 View attachment 587917 View attachment 587918 the shoulder is starting to crumble a bit but I think the jacket is very serviceable. What do you think?
