Thanks for all of the kind words yesterday about hats and other things. You folks are good ones.

Up and out early because the cats were angry at me for running out of cat food. I gave them dog food, but they weren't having any of it. Snobs!

After returning home I donned the '40s teal Game Bird mainly to verify that the stretch has held. All is good. So it will accompany me for my Friday labors.

In one of the shots I kind of have the "stink-eye" going. I include it to further dissuade Red from trying to take me on in the octagon for that green Dobbs (when it comes down to it, I'm a hippie wimp and he'd probably handily kick my butt). Have the best Friday ever!

Such a beautiful hat.

I'm old and slow, you could probably at least stay out of my way! You will have to protect this one too! Love the finish.
Sounds like the makings of some horrible reality show based off of UFC: HATBATTLE I: The Ambulatory Challenged VS The Hipster Doofus. My son can record it and post it on YouTube!

Way too many things I don't want to do today on the plate. Maybe some more Sherlock Holmes dvds instead.

Matt - That Game Bird. What more can I say?

Hope all is well and the snow stays in Minnesota. Sorry about that Short Balding Guy.

Great look today, Michael. I really like that Grafton, and the putty-like quality of the felt shows in the pinches. I'm envious.

Thanks Michael. And I love your Knox and the entire look.

Wish I could be there with you to procrastinate, kick back and watch some Sherlock Holmes. I got plenty of things on my desk that I'm dying to leave until later!

The effect of that ribbon is marvelous. This van Gogh painting leapt to my mind when I saw it against the felt: http://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/436528

That blue ribbon really works with the grey felt. And they both work with the grey day.

I do like tweed, and my skin

Thank you sir. It is a nice bit of felt for a later model hat. That is a very spiffy first hat you have in the Churchill. My first hat from my return to wearing hats in under repair orders at the moment.

Thanks Michael. And I love your Knox and the entire look.

Thanks Matt. I'll trade you my look for that Game Bird and a homburg to be named later.

Great everything Michael!
Looking good, man.

Thanks Harv. Some days the clothes fall off the rack in better order than on others.
