This morning I wore a vintage Dalton fedora.

Excellent fedora purchased from the Hatton Hat shop for $13.50.

It is a cool, very light white-gray hued felt that is very malleable. Bigger 2 7/8" brim and a taller crown give the hat some dimensions. All in all a terrific fedora.

I love a mystery and this felt is no exception. It is labeled "Mystery Felt - Weather Tested."

Best, Eric -
Wow, that's a great one, Eric! Beautiful Dalton. Is that a new acquisition?

One more from yesterday during the lunch buffet at Schmidt's Sausage Haus In Columbus, Ohio's German Village. I'm standing next to a Depression era photo of a couple of well hatted Gents. These were the owners of Schmidt's delivering a barrel full of Pig's feet to Columbus' homeless during the Depression of the 1930s. I don't know what hats they're wearing but I'm sporting a Royal Stetson thin ribbon...

Man, I gotta get back to Schmidt's soon. I haven't been there in years.

Nice Stetson, BTW.

I have received some hats the past couple of months which I started to open the boxes, brush,spot/clean and spruce up the past few days. This was one of the recent "spruced up hats." I Coleman White gas cleaned maybe 6-8 hats, conditioned sweats, brushed and spot cleaned a few more. Keeping the hat obsession alive at my house!

Thanks for the comments sir. Eric -

It's not for everyone to pull off that look, but you make it look easy, Michael. Cool!
Thanks Stefan.

Happy and healthy 2019 everyone! Been busy with the festivities (and recovering from them) the last few days. I have been wearing hats though. Here they are:

Another great bunch of hats Stefan. Are you past the 1000 hat mark yet? You must be near, if not.

I wish my passengers had this much style [emoji106]

MRI? Hope all is well with you.

Happy Friday, all. Today, a nice, wide ribbon Resistol with a back bow. I wish we saw more dress Resistols with these kind of dimensions, but they seem to be few and far between.

That wall mural is so cool Terry. Your hat is a perfect fit for the image.

Navy Borsalino this morning.
One of my favorites Bob.

A VS Stratoliner inspired fedora was my morning hat. Dove felt with matching ribbon treatment.

Now that I have a deadline with Art closing the VS shop, I'm looking at ordering one just like this. Sorry to copy you, but I just love this hat in every way.
