Help on new board racer

I'll try to get a sunlight shot later today....of course it might just be the fact we are coming out of summer and I haven't worn or even looked at it for 6 months.....maybe I'm not remembering correctly?

I hope the jacket will be as dark as the sample they send me ... I love that tone, but if it is lighter that I wouldn’t like. I did ask for a dark batch. I might check back with them.

Keep in mind it would be little lighter after use, thats my observation of vintage /used jackets on eBay. Senior members can verify this.

The Vicenza will look dark blue in minimal lighting, but will appear closer to the as worn photos in this thread in more lighting.

I just couldn't get an accurate picture of the colour with my phone sorry, it kept showing closer to black than it actually is. I'd say @ksozay has done the impossible and pretty much captured it correctly.

My Vicenza cafe racer size 46 , hope the 46 board racer will fit as perfect /with no sweater just with a T shirt so that should compensate for the tighter fit . What do you think?

I believe that the cafe racer is larger than the BR in a similar size. You might need to size up one size in a BR, however I don't know from your photos just how big a 46 CR is on you. A 46 BR should fit tighter than your CR.

The cut of the BR is different than the CR, which is why it is called a shirt. The arm holes are higher than the CR, which automatically means it is not a comfortable jacket to wear with layers if you sized it correctly.

Something to take into consideration is the cut of the CR and BR are different besides the arm holes. The CR is a tapered cut jacket, meaning the shoulders are wider generally than the waist. The BR is more straight, and may not be fitted at your waist in your size. You may want a CR cut like a BR to fit your body shape. I believe ProtienNerd has a perfect example.

I edited my post to reflect how the BR and CR are a different cut. CR is tapered shoulders to waist. BR is a more straight cut shoulders to waist. Some body shapes have to take this into account.

My tighter fitting aero with the most wonderful oil pulled fqhh... I love the old school, vintage non glossy look of that leather. This jacket fits much tighter than the Vicenza / both 46

It ages incredibly beautiful.

I have a 46 BR and used a CR as a fitting jacket at gasoline alley in Munich. It worked out perfect. The cut is different. I just provided Aero with an additional waist measurement and it came out perfect. Of course shoulders will be smaller!
