Just reiceived LW horse. Rugged as goatskin, beautiful horsehide texture, russet looking incredible, pictures dont do it justice.

I voted LW. It isn’t even that close imo. (Though Cals old HH is close- but not listed).

2d would be either Vanson’s X150/Octagon or CXL. Tough call.

Oh damn- forgot about Lost World's Chrome tanned bullet proof leather. Gorgeous and incredibly effective at stopping a 22.

CXL. The older Vanson comp cow. Then whatever the Hell Jimbo is made from. In that order? Depends on the day.

For me after owning many HH jackets (LW, and Aero) plus steer (Vanson and Schott).. hands down my choice is Thedi's antique washed and beeswax treated buffalo.

This is like asking me to pick my favorite flavor of ice cream, I just can’t do it! Thank you for allowing us to vote for multiple leathers. LW horsehide was the first one I picked because it is truly something special in my mind. I surprised myself by also selecting Vicenza as well. I was never particularly impressed with this leather until I received my Aero type 3 in blackened brown Vicenza a few weeks ago. It’s soft and comfortable right out of the box, with a wonderful drape and feel to it.

I have YET (lol) to handle as many different leathers as others here. I had to vote for Schott HH. I love the way the shiny leather is starting to age. My Vansons are thicker of coarse, but the Schott gets my vote.

Going from pics, I would have to vote for the Horween CXL. Aged Horween HH is a thing of beauty! I really hope to have one soon.

There are MANY STELLAR examples of leathers and jackets from many makers on this forum! It's way too hard to narrow it down!
