Well, my Sydney arrived a few days ago. It was a little delayed because of the storm Seattle got. I don't know if I'm qualified for a review, but I will say that I really like it. It's not as soft as I expected it to be. It's held my dry bash just fine. Maybe it's just my bash, but it doesn't...
Can't stand hats with brim snapped down in the back and up in the front. I see a lot of kids wearing them that way now. Maybe it's not the hat, but the wearers I can't stand.
Stepping into an elevator yesterday, someone looked at me and said "nice fedora". To which a second person already in the elevator replied "that's not a fedora, it's and Indiana Jones hat". I just chuckled and said "thanks".
Walking around Target, and was surprised by some hats that had a bit of a larger brim than you would normally see there. Of course they were super cheap and made in China, but maybe this is a good sign of wider brims becoming a little more mainstream.
I've been to the Soho Arth store a couple times. Cool vibe, relatively small, and way over priced (in my opinion) for the majority of the hats they had on display. Most of which were wool stingys. Just my 2 cents.
Picked up this Dobbs Oldham for ridiculously cheap... especially since I had a $25 ebay gift card :) I don't think it's ever been worn. For some reason it seems a size or so larger than 7 1/8...
I'm looking for a semi-casual summer straw hat that can withstand a rain shower. I've narrowed it down to either a Sunbody or an Akubra Capricorn. I know the Capricorn isn't real straw. I live in FL, so I'm wondering if the Capricorn will be too hot with the humid air, but I also don't know how...
I've searched and searched, so forgive me if this question exists elsewhere. Is it possible to buy hat ribbon without having to buy mass quantity? I want to replace the ribbon on one panama hat.
