Picked one of these up yesterday at O'Connell's in Buffalo, New York.

One of the last great traditional men's clothing stores in North America along with J Press , the Andover Shop and Cable Car Clothiers.
Without a doubt, the Duke of Windsor was one of the best dressed gentlemen of the 20th Century. I was amazed at his wardrobe and the great taste the man had for fine clothing and shoes.
I am looking to purchase a pair of Clark's Desert Boots with the rabbit fur lining which were sold in the late 1960's and early 1970's. Does anyone know if they are still made with the rabbit fur lining?
I would have to say that Marshal Zhukov impressed me the most out of any WWII Soviet Marshal!

I won both these Allen Edmonds shoes today on eBay. The Shelton went for $27.21 and the Cody went for $27.01. I plan to send both pairs to be factory refurbished at Allen Edmonds. Both shoes new list for $305.00 each!
I always wondered how cold it had to be for Niagara Falls to freeze up. I always wondered how long it took the falls to freeze and at what temperature?
One of my favorite movies was the 1940 hit, Waterloo Bridge, starring Robert Taylor and Vivien Leigh. The acting was superb and the story line was heart wrenching. Has anyone else seen this fine motion picture?
Everyone remembers Major Strasser in the legendary film Casablanca, starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. The actor that played the part, Conrad Veidt, was one of the great actors in Europe before he had to flee Nazi Germany in 1933.
Has anyone seen his 1928 film, "The Man Who Laughs"...
I haven't been to Jos. A Bank in years ever since their clothing started to be made in Mexico and China. Did notice they are giving away suits:
What is the quality like regarding these suits on sale? Is it worth the drive to check them out?
I think this was one of the most innovated movies of its time period. Anyone else think this adapation of Raymond Chandler's book was an interesting concept? In addition, Robert Montgomery was outstanding in the role of Phillip Marlow.

Pants were outward pleated to perfection, suit lining first class...

2. Russian Leather Cologne
3. British Sterling After Shave

What were yours?
One of my favorite button down collar shirts by a manufacturer in the 1960's was the Eagle Shirt Company. The dress shirts were made like no other at that time. Sadly, they went out of business.
Hathaway shirts were my second choice and now they have gone out of business in the USA. I read...
