Cirrus -- Classic RAF Flying Jacket

Hey Paddy or anyone else... Have any experience with this manufacturer? Great looking jackets... Cirrus

Going to have to add this one to my Christmas wish list! (The jacket, NOT the female model!)

I recall Ken Calder of Aero a few years ago saying that Cirrus were lovely people but their jackets were absolutely lousy. Admittedly Ken was a bit biased (although he was prepared to give credit where it was due and say so if he thought another manufacturer had made a nice jacket), but Cirrus certainly aren't terribly well thought of in jacket collecting circles. Better off with something from Aero or Eastman, and yes, if I don't mention it Paddy will, you can pick up decent originals at reasonable prices if such is your preference. And Irvins never had handwarmer pockets!

Cirrus flight jackets seem to be worn by old men driving Morgans.
They are not any kind of 'authentic' flight jacket- in style, detail, or construction.
