The Canada goose chilliwack heritage bomber is the best cold weather jacket I’ve ever owned. It’s for real cold weather. Not car cities you drive door to door in. If you are outside walking, this is your jacket. Only thing better than it is their jackets used for winter expeditions or special extreme weather winter gear used for climbing mountains like mt Everest.

This is the best civilian jacket. Used it in Russia during winter. It’s unbelievable. Made in Canada from the highest quality material. Classic military vintage look. Very warm and it breathes.

^ lovely dog pics, thanks for posting

earlier this week we had a couple mornings at -15C at dawn
tonight's temp is predicted to be -20C (before wind chill), haven't seen that in many years
not much you can do at those temps other than put on a million layers and make sure extremities are warm

We're getting some decent chill in eastern Iowa this morning, fortunately I can work from home. At least no ice and no appreciable snow for our area with the systems coming through. I would like some snow however (but not with this type of cold):

This morning.

I've found my quilted Vanson Oxford is as warm as my Pea coat, and with a sweater, hat, and scarf it's actually fine for running around town.
