It looks good, weirdly I think it looks a good size when zipped, but like its a little small when open, maybe it just needs to be worn in... if it feels good I think you're good.
As I've mentioned before, I think it looks good just the way it is.Hi,
I just bought (second-hand) an Iron Heart x Alexander Leathers jacket, made in Scotland from Horween Horsehide.
It's a size 38, a bit less boxy than a Highwayman cut, but boxier than the Premier Highwayman, I think.
Could you give me your opinion regarding the fit?
I also add a picture with a hoodie under the jacket
Thanks.
(I have the possibility to return it if needed)

On my very narrow subset of 2 specimens same sleeve length will be slightly longer on the Hooch Hauler as shoulders are a bit wider.Hello all, I’m about to pull the trigger on an Aero Hooch Hauler. My final concern is the sleeve length. I’ve had several Boardracers with sleeve lengths spec’d at 23.75 inches, which seems to be a good length (see pic). Of course the Boardracer has zippered sleeves, whereas the Hooch Hauler will have a button cuff.
So my question is this: will the 23.75 sleeve length which works well on the zip-sleeve Boardracer also work on the button-cuff Hooch Hauler? For reference, the Hooch Hauler depicted has a sleeve length of 25.25 inches, so a reduction to 23.75 would shorten the sleeve only 1.5 inches.
FWIW the Hooch Hauler will be brown Pinnacle.
Thanks in advance for your advice!

I really hope it isn’t a jacket that requires layers to fit properly. It is already very warm and a mid-weight flannel is about all I can comfortably wear with it without it becoming too restrictive in the arm pits and sleeves. I also have not seen anything from Aero materials that would suggest that this jacket is designed to be a layer piece. It’s getting returned if that is the case.I’d be interested in seeing it cinched fully and zipped. Maybe even overtop a thick sweater.
This looks made to fit over layers to me.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Sorry about that, thanks for the help.Done. PC
There is nearly zero belly underneath, this is the closest I have been to a six pack since college. It is a combination of the seam width, the stiffness of the leather, and the fact that it has not yet conformed to my body. You pointed out the one area that is am a little concerned with myself. I can’t tell if that is the “50’s style/fit” and how it is supposed to be until it relaxes a bit, or if it something I should have fixed. To me shoulder, sleeve length and chest looks good (I prefer wearability over a super fitted look). Overall length is a matter of taste, depends what you like. On the side view it seems like it protrudes around the belly area. I can not see if it’s too wide there or if there’s a bit of a belly underneath.
I am not a great fan of the style for various reasons, but as for fit, it fits you well, just as it is meant to fit. Neither a larger nor a smaller size would do you any good. You picked the right size.Hi everyone,
Here’s a fit check on my FW La Brea.
I’ve had it for a little while now and I’m really happy with it — would love to hear your thoughts on the fit.
Thx
